Why this is a pricing comparison, not a hands-on test
An earlier version of this article described a hands-on comparison of Unbounce, Landingi and Leadpages that never happened. Running a real side-by-side would mean live campaigns on three paid platforms at once — a budget this outlet doesn't have. Rather than delete the topic, this is the honest replacement: what each vendor's own pricing page states, read directly, dated, and cited.
The timing matters. Leadpages rebuilt its entire platform in 2026, splitting into a publishing-only tier (HTML Pub) and a full conversion-optimization product (Leadpages proper) — a bigger structural change than either competitor made this year.
📋 How this was put together
Every price and plan limit below is pulled from the vendor's own site — unbounce.com/compare-plan-features, landingi.com/pricing and leadpages.com/pricing — as published in September 2026. No first-hand testing is claimed anywhere in this piece. SaaS pricing changes without notice, so confirm with the vendor before you buy.
Unbounce — five tiers, A/B testing gated behind the third one
Unbounce's current ladder, per its own comparison page: Starter at $29/month ($22 annually), Build at $99 ($74 annually), Experiment at $149 ($112 annually), Optimize at $249 ($187 annually), plus custom-priced Concierge and Agency tiers.
What the tiers actually gate: Starter caps at 500 monthly visitors, 1 landing page limit of 5, and 1 user — before you can even A/B test. A/B testing itself doesn't unlock until the $149 Experiment tier. Smart Traffic, Unbounce's AI visitor-routing feature, requires the $249 Optimize tier. Visitor limits scale from 500 (Starter) to 20,000 (Build), 30,000 (Experiment), 50,000 (Optimize), and 100,000+ on Concierge.
Per the vendor's page
- Unlimited landing pages from the Build tier up
- Smart Traffic AI routing at the Optimize tier
- Audit logs and a dedicated success manager on Concierge/Agency
- 25% discount for annual billing across every fixed tier
Worth checking before buying
- A/B testing is not available below the $149/month tier
- Starter tier caps at 500 visitors and 1 user
- Smart Traffic is gated behind the $249/month tier
- No permanent free plan
Landingi — credits-based AI usage, unlimited seats on the entry tier
Landingi's own pricing page lists four tiers: Build at $24/month annually (10 pages, 2,000 visits/month, 1 domain, 2,500 AI credits), Optimize at $119/month annually (100 pages, 30,000 visits, 3 domains, 10,000 credits, server-side A/B testing, Solis AI Insights), Scale at $229+/month annually (unlimited pages, 100,000–500,000 visits, Orbit MCP server), and Enterprise from $1,199/month (1M+ visits, SSO, dedicated account manager).
What's distinctive: every Landingi tier, including the cheapest, includes its AI page generator ("Lunar") — usage is metered by credits rather than gated by tier. A/B testing is server-side but doesn't appear until the $119 Optimize tier. Visits and AI credits, not seats, are the practical limiter on the entry plan.
Per the vendor's page
- AI page generation (Lunar) included on every tier, even the cheapest
- Unlimited conversions on all tiers
- Solis AI Insights (automated recommendations) from Optimize up
- Two months free on annual billing
Worth checking before buying
- Build tier caps at 2,000 visits/month — low for active campaigns
- A/B testing requires the $119/month Optimize tier
- AI features are usage-capped by credits, not unlimited
- Extra domains cost $5/month past the plan's included count
Leadpages — rebuilt in 2026, testing bundled in from $99
Leadpages restructured its entire product in 2026 into two lines. HTML Pub is publishing-only — Starter $10/month, Pro $29/month, Business $49/month — pages, domains and an AI editor, no A/B testing. Leadpages proper adds conversion-rate-optimization tooling: Grow $99/month, Optimize $199/month, Scale $399/month.
What changed: per the vendor's own pricing page, every Leadpages-proper tier now includes unlimited traffic and unlimited pages — no visitor cap on any plan, which the page explicitly contrasts with Unbounce's 20,000-visitor cap at the equivalent $99 price point. Manual A/B testing and dynamic text replacement are included starting on Grow ($99); Smart Traffic (AI routing) and heatmaps require Optimize ($199) and up.
Per the vendor's page
- No traffic cap on any Leadpages-proper tier
- A/B testing bundled in from the $99 Grow tier, not gated to a higher one
- Lead enrichment and dynamic text replacement included from Grow up
- Publishing-only HTML Pub option from $10/month for teams not ready for CRO
Worth checking before buying
- No landing-page tier under $99/month with testing included
- Smart Traffic and heatmaps require the $199 Optimize tier
- 7-day trial, shorter than Unbounce's and Landingi's 14 days
- Full "auto-optimization loop" (continuous testing) is Scale-only at $399
Side by side, on the vendors' own numbers
| Criterion | Unbounce | Landingi | Leadpages |
|---|---|---|---|
| Cheapest paid tier | $22/mo annual (Starter) | $24/mo annual (Build) Lowest | $10/mo (HTML Pub, no testing) |
| Cheapest tier with A/B testing | $112/mo annual (Experiment) | $119/mo (Optimize) | $99/mo (Grow) Lowest |
| Traffic cap | 500 – 100,000+ by tier | 2,000 – 1M+ by tier | None on any tier Only one |
| AI page generation | Smart Copy, from Build up | Lunar, every tier Broadest | Included, every tier |
| AI visitor routing | Smart Traffic, $249/mo up | Not offered | Smart Traffic, $199/mo up |
| Free trial length | 14 days | 14 days | 7 days |
What the vendors' own pages show: none of the three is cheapest across the board. Landingi's entry tier is the lowest priced overall, but its 2,000-visit cap is the tightest of the three. Leadpages is the only one of the three with no traffic cap on any tier, and the only one bundling A/B testing at $99 rather than $112–$149. Unbounce's Smart Traffic is the most mature AI-routing feature by tenure, but it's also gated behind the highest price point of the three ($249/month).
💡 What this data doesn't answer
None of this is a verdict on output quality, page-load speed, or which tool's A/B testing actually moves conversion rates further. That would require running campaigns through all three and comparing results — exactly the test the earlier version of this article claimed to have run and hadn't. If BuzzRiding runs that test for real, it will be published as a dedicated experiment with the raw data attached, not folded into a pricing page.
